Destination Covered : Delhi-Amritsar-Haridwar-Agra-Jaipur-Pushkar-Udaipur-Delhi

Spiritual, overflows with riches. While traveling through the most religious destinations experience the vibrant religions of India The ethos of Amritsar with its Golden Temple, the night lamps at a ceremony in Haridwar at sunset. The Pushkar which is world famous for its festival grounds & the Bhrama Temple. Golden Triangle: bustling Delhi; Agra, home of the sublime Taj Mahal; Jaipur, great city of the Rajput.

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel
One person arrives early morning at 05:00 and second person arriving from London at 13:30.

PM: 1500 Hrs proceed for Sightseeing of Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658 ; Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648 ; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament.  Visit Humayun's Tomb : built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture ; Qutab Minar and return to hotel by 1900 hrs. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi-Amritsar

In time transfer to airport to board flight for Amritsar. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel
At 1400 hours visit Indo-Pak Border to watch retreat ceremony-30 KM on the road to Lahore is India-Pakistan Border. A visit to the border is an interesting experience especially at Sunset, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the Border Security Force on the Indian Side and the Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well coordinated and spectacular display. The sound from the Bugles blown together from both sides paints past on the canvas when India and Pakistan were one, simultaneously Flags of the two nations are ceremoniously retrieved and lights are switched on marking the end of the day. Amidst thunderous applause today this point is the only land route open to approach Pakistan and central Asia. Return to hotel by 1800 hrs. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Amritsar

0900 Hrs After breakfast, city tour of Amritsar - Golden Temple-the holy scripture is brought in a vivid procession from the Akal Takhat (the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs) in the morning to the temple to be returned at night. Singing is central to Sikh worship & is a feast to the souls when hymns from the holy scripture are recited Kirtan and the waves of the classical ragas, a sublim blend of voice & music. Jallianwala Bagh-the historic site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women an children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer on April 13, 1919. A memoral and Garden have been created here as a national monument. Return to hotel by 1400 hours
1800 hrs in the evening witness ceremonies at the Golden Temple. Retun to hotel by 2000 hours. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 4 : Amritsar-Haridwar

Early morning transfer to railway station to connect train for Haridwar (Dep. 0700hrs//Arr. 1355 hrs). Box breakfast on board train.
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
At 1700 hrs in the evening enjoy witnessing the evening aarti ceremony at various temples while sitting at the ghats of the holy river Ganges. Hotel has it own private ghat. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Haridwar

Breakfast at hotel.
0900 hrs Sightseeing of Rishikesh abounds in temples. Most of the pilgrims who pass through Rishikesh on their way to the Himalayan shrines of the Char Dham pause for a holy dip and puja at Triveni Ghat, in the central part of the town. The river here looks especially spectacular during aarti (evening worship) when diyas or oil lamps float on the water. Nearby is the Bharat Mandir, Rishikesh's oldest temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The Chandreshwar temple stands at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and the Ganges. The Hanuman Mandir is flocked by a large number of devotees on Tuesday.
The dense-knit complex of cafe shops and ashrams collectively known as Swarg Ashram, opposite Shivananda Nagar, is the most attractive part of Rishikesh, backing on to forested hills where caves are still inhabited by sadhus or hermits. The large courtyard of the Parmarth Ashram here is crammed with brightly clad statues of gods and goddesses. Return to hotel by 1800 hours.

Return to hotel for overnight.


Day 6 : Haridwar

Breakfast at hotel.
0800 hrs Excursion to The Chila Wildlife Sanctuary, part of the Rajaji National Park, covers an area of around 240 sq. km. It has 23 species of mammals and 315 fauna species. Fishing in the river there is allowed with permits only. Return to hotel by 1400 hours
Later of the day explore the town on your own.. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Haridwar-Delhi-Agra (205 kms/ 5 Hours)

Early morning transfer to railway station to connect train for Delhi (Dep 0620 hrs//Arr 1115 hrs) Box breakfast on board train.
Meeting and assistance on arrival and proceed for Agra.
On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 : Agra-Jaipur(260 kms/ 6 hours)

AT 0500 hrs Early morning at Sunrise the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Return to hotel by 0730 hours.
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures;
1100 hrs Later leave for Jaipur. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory.
Continue drive to Jaipur.
Arrive Jaipur in the evening and check in at hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Jaipur

0800 hrs After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort enroute witness the façade of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds which was built in 1799. Amber Fort - The ancient capital of the state until 1727 when Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to new site on the plains. The construction of this fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar?s army. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal & temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.
Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar - the observatory built by Jai Singh in 1728; the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. It also has a museum with an extensive collection of art, carpets, paintings, enamel ware and weapons dating back to the 15th century. Return to hotel by 1600 hours. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Jaipur

0500 Hrs Early morning visit Galtaji. Surrounded by the hills of the Aravalli Range, the Galtaji Temple is located near the outskirts of Jaipur. As you near the Galtaji Temple, a spiritual aura envelops you. The chanting of religious hymns, the sight of people paying obeisance to the Gods, the mystical quality about the place – everything combines to make your visit an experience to remember.  The sprawling landscaped garden is an exquisite blend of traditional Indian and Mughal architecture and is sited at about 8 km from the capital city of Jaipur.
Visit the picturesque Sisodia Gardens. The rambling lawns abounding in lush foliage and colorful vibrancies of the seasonal blooms is replete with pretty fountains with ornate figurines, galleries, pavilions, sparkling pools gleaming like a mirage of quicksilver, beautifully trimmed flowerbeds and murals vividly narrating the legends surrounding Lord Krishna. The murals are truly appropriate to the garden’s central theme since they mainly portray the love that blossomed between Lord Krishna and his true love, Radha. Return to hotel by 0930 hours.
Return to hotel for breakfast
1100hrs The Fort stands at the top of rugged point of the Aravalis and offers a spectacular view of the City. Keeping this fact in mind, the fort was made to serve as a means of supporting the security of Amer. The term "Nahargarh" refers to "the Abode of Tigers", so it is also known as the Tiger Fort. The Fort was constructed mainly in 1734, however further additions were made to it, by the succeeding rulers in the 19th century. Return to hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Jaipur-Pushkar(180 kms/ 3 hours)

0800 hrs After breakfast depart for Pushkar.
On arrival check in at hotel
1500 hrs Later visit Pushkar - the abode of Lord Brahma, lying to its west with a temple and a picturesque lake. The Pushkar Lake is a sacred spot for Hindus. During the month of Kartik (Oct./Nov.), devotes throng in large numbers here to take a dip in the sacred lake. Return to hotel by 1800 hours.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Pushkar-Udaipur

0800 hrs After breakfast depart for Udaipur. Enroute visiting Bhilwara Temples & Chittorgarh Fort.
On arrival check in at hotel around 1600 hours. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Udaipur

0900 hrs After breakfast, visit the romantic city of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace which is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan; Jagdish temple, a fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651; Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small garden with its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants & lotus pool.
1530 hrs In the evening, boat ride on Lake Pichola. Return to hotel by 1800 hours
Overnight at hotel

Day 14 : Udaipur-Delhi

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning explore the town on your own.
Later in time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi.
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel
Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 : Leave Delhi
In time transfer to airport to connect flight back home.
