Destination Covered : Kumbhalgarh-Rawla Jojawar-Kharchi Village-Dhamli-Khetawas Camp-Kharda Dam-Luni
Traveling on horseback is the best possible way to see the countryside as you journey unhurriedly and through fringe desert, small oases and tribal lands; through rolling hills and rural villages; or through forested foothills. The scenery encountered on each journey varies enormously and can be shortened or lengthened to suit your requirements. Marwari Horse Safaris are organized by a team of young , enthusiastic Horse lovers, who will guide you & the horses through Rajasthan. Some of the Castles en-route where you stay are owned by the members of the Organizing team.
Day - 1
Mount the horse after breakfast from Kumbhalgarh Passing through the Wildlife sanctuary we reach Mushala Mahaveer Ji (an ancient Jain temple) & stop over for lunch. By the time the lunch is ready clients can visit beautifully carved marble temple. After rest mount again and reach Narlai or Ghanerao (depending on availability of rooms) by sunset.
Day - 2
We start after early breakfast riding through the lovely bushy terrain on the foot of the Aravalli Hills. Passing through colorful villages and seeing charming service men and women working in the fields (its a farming community). We camp on the outskirts Kharchi Village for lunch. After lunch and rest for a while we head towards Rawla Jojawar. A big village located on the foot of the aravalli hills and the market is full of colorful fabric and beautifully embroidered leather shoes.
Day - 3
We leave Jojawar after breakfast passing through beautiful Raberi Shepherds hamlets, where one can see colourfully decked Rebari women working with the sheep and goad ad men with there lovely red turban grazing their camels. This region has one of the highest camel populations in Rajasthan. We stop over for lunch on a service community farm where one can closely look into the life of a farmer. After lunch riding through a dry river bed and open fields we reach Dhamli around sunset
Day - 4
On day four we head towards the west moving into the desert riding through the dry and empty fields which are only cultivated during the monsoons. We may see some green patches here and there wherever there is sweet underground water available. For lunch we stop over under a huge banyan tree in the middle of no-where. After rest we head for Khetawas Camp through dry and rocky terrain. We reach the camping site before sunset and settle down in the tents. In the night under the open sky we enjoy a lovely barbeque dinner.
Day - 5
Leaving the camp site after breakfast we ride through the rocky and thorny terrain which gradually transforms into very dry and salty plain with over grown acacia bushes and very few shady trees. We pitch up our lunching tent on the wall of a huge salt take called Kharda Dam. After lunch we ride through thorny acacia bushes, which provides shelter to the Blue Bulls (the biggest Indian Antilopes). We reach Rohet Galloping through the salt tracks by sunset
Day - 6

Being a shorter ride we leave at ease after breakfast passing through the small settlements of Brahmins and Bishnois who very fiercely protect Chinkara and the Black Buck antelopes, which graze freely close to these settlements. We pitch our tent along the railway track for lunch. After lunch a short to Ride to Luni to end the day.
